A couple of spot and dot -filled snaps from Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirrors at the Hirshhorn.
“We shall have spring again.” — C.S. Lewis
The spring equinox is fast approaching and things aren’t going so well. My beloved magnolias didn’t stand a chance this year. And only time will tell, but I have a feeling everyone’s favorite pink blossoms might suffer a similar fate. So in the meantime, I’ve been revisiting old photos and sharing some here.
Best of luck out there. For a bit of cheer, I leave you with the humble kumquat.
Twenty seventeen. I unintentionally almost made it to March without taking a single photo. Everything has its plan either way.
With the fall season coming to its close, I’m looking forward to the quieter months ahead. But it wouldn’t be the end of fall without a few lovely family photos brimming with joy and snuggles. I love watching these tiny families grow each year.
And let’s all embrace the season by spending time with loved ones and reconnecting with what’s important. I think we need it.
To those who serve, and that have served.
Today I choose love.
