I’m a big believer in joining forces with other artists for a good dose of inspiration and creative collaboration. Lucky for me, that artist comes in the form of baker and friend Regina and her custom cake shop Cake Walk. Gorgeous, one of a kind style + all the tastiness to fill your belly. I say, hand me another slice please.
Earlier this summer, I had the pleasure of working alongside the lovely and talented Amelia Moore, photographing a breathtaking Naval Academy wedding in downtown Annapolis. It was a special experience for me as my parents were married in that very chapel. A memorable favorite was this simple moment shared between father and daughter.
And okay, one more. Because look at that couple! They were showstoppers.
A favorite from the beautiful city of Oxford. A quiet moment that feels almost Italian, not only because of the scenery, but because it serves as a reminder that getting a little lost sometimes is good for the soul. And my camera.
The white limestone cliffs along the Jurassic Coast had me reminiscing about my favorite Mesozoic Era hangout spot in Calvert, Maryland. If you need a little more texture in your life, a jagged coastline seems to be the perfect destination.
The New Forest is a magical place to get lost in. Wild horses and cows grazing on heather and bog myrtle against a backdrop of endless ferns and oak trees.
Sometimes being alone can be, well lonely. But there are always times when alone is the best possible gift this world has to offer. Takk, Iceland.
In honor of Heartbreak Cafe, a loving companion and friend.
