A few more beachy wedding favorites in honor of the summer solstice. One month later and I’m ready to be back on island time.
Dreaming about summer and the beach while sorting through a few lovely snapshots from yet another Hilton Head wedding.
The white limestone cliffs along the Jurassic Coast had me reminiscing about my favorite Mesozoic Era hangout spot in Calvert, Maryland. If you need a little more texture in your life, a jagged coastline seems to be the perfect destination.
Sometimes waking up at 6am on vacation pays off in unexpected ways.
I made my second trip to Hilton Head Island this past weekend for a near-and-dear wedding. These two are now hitched! It was a fantastic trip full of sunshine and love. Snapped these moody, early morning shots the day of the wedding. I hope I get to go back at least one more time before my friends settle down in a new state.
And one more, because I love these little guys so much.
Last Wednesday afternoon was spent strolling the shores of Laguna Beach. And how picturesque it was! Found quite the array of birds and flowers and even a few surfers. Would love to go back again and comb through the local art shops and galleries.
Terribly exhausted and terribly excited about all the wonderful sights captured in the last five days. Will most definitely have sweet dreams of the week gone by. And yet so many more things to come in these next few weeks. And the holiday season begins to unfold.
But until then, I’ll just be California dreamin’.
Taking a short holiday on the west coast. Hoping to soak up some warm sun (even though I have already been doing that here) and watch the surfers come and go at Huntington Beach. I am slightly obsessed with the surfing culture. These photos were taken in Biarritz, France, a famous international surfing spot.
Enjoy the week!
