What a gorgeous day today. I hit up all my favorite spots on the bike trail including Reagan airport to watch the planes take off. It’s such a great feeling to fly past all the cars sitting in rush hour traffic. Also! When did all the biker babes come out of hibernation?! And runners? Where have you been living and working and hanging out? Man oh man, you make it hard to pay attention. Maybe if I crash it would be our perfect meet cute. No? Okay, I guess not.
Kelly took me to my first Givers concert last spring. It was wonderful. So full of energy. Yesterday they released their first full-length album. Ch-check it out!
Last night I celebrated with my brother and his friends his recent accomplishment of purchasing his very first place. The condo is located only a few blocks from the Washington National’s stadium and has incredible views of the Capitol and Washington Monument. There really isn’t anything quite like the DC skyline, is there?
The Burnside Shattered’s first time playing in DC. You can follow them on Facebook here, and you can check out the tunes here.
But oh my love
[Oh my love]
No it ain’t easy
[It ain’t easy]
But it ain’t the type to give up and die
That’s not my love
Last Friday, I had the pleasure of attending a Dr. Dog concert at the 9:30 club. Amazing. Love this band. So good live. Really rockin’ set. Would definitely see again. You can listen here. Enjoy!
