With the fall season coming to its close, I’m looking forward to the quieter months ahead. But it wouldn’t be the end of fall without a few lovely family photos brimming with joy and snuggles. I love watching these tiny families grow each year.
And let’s all embrace the season by spending time with loved ones and reconnecting with what’s important. I think we need it.
Only love and happy faces over here. Even with a steamy heat index of ninety-something degrees and that famous DC humidity to top it all off. But we’re just having too much fun.
Hard to believe almost one year ago this little peach was about to make her debut. Now it’s all kisses and hugs and the sweetest looks from those stunning baby blues.
Family is always the best reminder of what it means to be thankful.
Breakin’ it down. Makenna I.
I don’t know how babies do it, but they always seem to top their previous adorableness. Of course it’s not hard to see where this gal gets her good looks and fun personality from.
We headed back to where it all started for some fall family portraits. Leesylvania State Park is now a fan favorite and one of these days I’ll explore the grounds a little deeper. We all braved the cold like rockstars. Especially Madeline, who was more charming than ever with her sweet smile and polka dot boots. And as the sun set and the temperature dropped, the animal hat emerged. Cue cuteness overload.
Has it really been a whole year since this seasonal session? Well just about. There’s no turning back now. It’s November and the days are getting shorter and the holidays are coming. Time to pull on those sweaters and find a fire or two to cozy up next to.
