It was a beautiful weekend full of beautiful photos that will be coming later. I grew up on this river. This is home. Calmness ensues.
Winter afternoons always seem to have the best light. Add to that the soft glow of a Christmas tree and you have the perfect place for a cat nap.

There are many, many things I am thankful for this year. But these people are definitely at the top of my list!
Today I wore shorts. And hung out in the warm sunshine. Is it really October? I don’t think so. There are flowers blooming and bugs flying about like it’s the middle of July. At least all these spiders feel a little more seasonally appropriate.
