This blog is quickly turning into another foodie blog. But that’s just fine with me.
On Sunday there was even more celebrating for this lady’s birthday. Her place of choice was Roy’s in Baltimore (three years in a row now!). Roy’s has amazing seafood and hawaiian infused flavors. They also have a “whole snapper” dish on the menu and when you order it, you really do get a whole snapper. And it’s probably a good foot long. And everyone in the restaurant stares at you. Even the snapper. True story.
Happy Birthday Mom!
We celebrated on Friday with afternoon tea at Reynolds Tavern in Annapolis. It’s pretty much my favorite (although it’s no Ladurée). We even got a little crazy and splurged on the “Colonial High Tea,” which includes their quiche lorraine. It was like eating the most delicious breakfast meal you have ever tasted in your entire life. If you are not from Annapolis and you take a little visit there, Reynolds is a must. Just do it.
To my momma, you are one classy, hardworking, amazing woman. To be half of what you are would be more than I could ever wish for. I’m always proud to say, I got it from my momma! And to all the mommas out there, you ROCK!
