“We shall have spring again.” — C.S. Lewis
The spring equinox is fast approaching and things aren’t going so well. My beloved magnolias didn’t stand a chance this year. And only time will tell, but I have a feeling everyone’s favorite pink blossoms might suffer a similar fate. So in the meantime, I’ve been revisiting old photos and sharing some here.
Best of luck out there. For a bit of cheer, I leave you with the humble kumquat.
With a side of vegetables.
From the weekend. Flowers and babies. Babies and flowers. Must still be spring.
Those eyes though.
After a brief but tortuous broken-camera scare, I am happy to have my fifth limb back in action again. And happy for two new additions blooming in my tiny city garden. And happy to be basking in the loveliness that is azalea season.
