Many beautiful posts coming your way soon. A first look at a lovely evening spent on the water with a lovely couple. Ah, summer love.
I can’t stop looking at these photos of my dear friend Allie and her fiancé John. They warm my heart and put a big smile on my face. I feel so blessed to have been able to capture their love and friendship. Can’t wait to celebrate their marriage later this year. Also, all girls should have a red dress. No exceptions.
It was a beautiful weekend full of beautiful photos that will be coming later. I grew up on this river. This is home. Calmness ensues.
Arrows pointing nowhere in particular.
Something quite calming about being on the water in the wintertime. Everything is always a bit smoother and bluer, like sheets of glass. Spent the gorgeous chilly afternoon in Galesville, Maryland shooting baby bump photos. Can’t wait to post some soon!
Last Wednesday afternoon was spent strolling the shores of Laguna Beach. And how picturesque it was! Found quite the array of birds and flowers and even a few surfers. Would love to go back again and comb through the local art shops and galleries.
Terribly exhausted and terribly excited about all the wonderful sights captured in the last five days. Will most definitely have sweet dreams of the week gone by. And yet so many more things to come in these next few weeks. And the holiday season begins to unfold.
But until then, I’ll just be California dreamin’.
Spent a lovely afternoon and evening in Ocean City, Maryland with these two pretty people. Caitlin and Nick were pretty much the perfect models. We had lots of fun parading the beach and getting just a little bit sandy. Thank you for letting me be a part of your love story! And most importantly, congratulations!
More love coming soon.
One of my favorite places in the world (so far!) is Bermuda. It will probably always have a special place in my heart because I was introduced to this amazing island at such a young age and have visited again and again. I love its British roots and real sense of community. Fun fact! You can’t live in Bermuda unless you are an island native or marry a Bermudian. This makes me sad. But it’s probably best I keep it as a favorite getaway instead.
These photos were taken on my most recent trip in 2009, soon after returning home from Italy. At the time I don’t think I fully appreciated this trip because I was still recovering from study abroad withdrawal, but looking through these photos now gives me only sweet memories and a longing to go back. With summer growing nearer and nearer each day, I can’t help but daydream about tropical places and endless summer days.
