Earlier this summer, I had the pleasure of working alongside the lovely and talented Amelia Moore, photographing a breathtaking Naval Academy wedding in downtown Annapolis. It was a special experience for me as my parents were married in that very chapel. A memorable favorite was this simple moment shared between father and daughter.
And okay, one more. Because look at that couple! They were showstoppers.
I’ve been waiting quite some time to post these stunning bridal portraits of a near and dear friend. On a gorgeous fall day in South Carolina, we celebrated a two year anniversary and the joy of putting on the dress again. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; portraits taken after a wedding are surprisingly worthwhile. Christine, you are a beauty, inside and out.
Just a few more wedding moments for this gorgeous couple. As far as the calendar was concerned, Erin and Cory had a fall wedding. But freezing temperatures and gusty winds decided otherwise. The result was an enchanting mood that has me daydreaming about winter weddings in the city.
Happy moments and the joy of literally being surrounded by friends. And art. Taken here.
Borjana and Aaron wanted a few wedding portraits in DC as they had their wedding overseas. Well, they’ve convinced me. Another round of portraits is exactly what this gorgeous couple needed.
I know, I know. If you weren’t thinking about wedding portraits at the monuments, you definitely are now. White dress + white marble. So much yes.
A Magothy River wedding with accents inspired by the sea.
A few more portraits from Wendy and Tom’s wedding day. We didn’t get to do our pre-wedding photos because of the government shutdown, so I’m glad we took our time with these, enjoying the beautiful weather and greenery outside of the temple.
